The Cold Wash Little blue clouds escape from the car changing to angels for fire and gas I feel the cold wash of it's independance and drive cross the river with vision and sound See us wild children hide between trees crossing the roads of metal and speed Diamonds and pearls, When the cold wash returns, Bursting in silence, whiter than light Bridges are burning, the old world is turning around Round, round, Round. Then I discover that all must be payed for and I lost my talents to survive on this Side a row of red bikers cycle away away from the shore, away from the shore... See us wild children escape from the car changing to angels for fire and gas... © 2005 Mark Burghgraeve

I came to disagree I came to disagree It's all too wild you see there's allmost nothing left of me I came to disagree It's not my way, you see you've lost your faith in me I came to disagree with the foreign coins you put in me, believe me... nothing is forever (nothingness forever) nothing is for free (nothingness for free) nothing is forever (nothingness forever) nothing is for free (nothingness for free) I feel like a fish on a wire out of the water, hooked on desire. I feel like a fish on a wire out of the water, into your fire... nothing is forever (nothingness forever) nothing is for free (nothingness for free) nothing is forever (nothingness forever) nothing is for free (nothingness for free) I feel like a fish on a wire out of the water, hooked on desire. Nude Girl 03:00
Nude Girl Nude girl in a bathroom Feeling just the water Dreaming of a jet-plane Nude girl in a bathroom It gets so hot now my world is melting It gets so hot now Nothing but a sick mind... How can I run on water? How can I run on water? How? How can I run on water? How can I run on water? How? My world is melting Girl in a bathroom Feeling just the water Electric on my screen Looping over and over and over and over... © Mark Burghgraeve

Some things are better left unsaid Is it me, or is it you, this screaming in my head I just don’t know where to crawl, I guess I go to bed. Once down and alone with the pillows Surprise, surprise, what do I get? Another day of disbelief and things better left unsaid. Some things are better left unsaid Some things are better left unsaid You talk to me about liberty, while all you want to do is rule. Awake me from this insanity and take me from my point of view Some things are better left unsaid Some things are better left unsaid Some things are better left unsaid Some things are better left unsaid So I shut down and covered up my hungry heart for years It’s all these little things unsaid that made it so unclear So is it me, or is it you, this hunger in my chest I just don’t know where to crawl, I guess I go to bed. Down and alone with the pillows Surprise, surprise, what do I get? My conscience kicks me in the head with things better left unsaid. Some things are better left unsaid Some things are better left unsaid. © Mark Burghgraeve/Jan Van den Eynden

I'm really a big hero, I nuke the duke or dungeon dare maybe I should get me some money and flash it around in town buy me some beer and a pizza and rearrange them on the ground. (UN)Holy American Roaring through the trees, riding a foul wind A midnight summer’s breeze Cutting through the flint Screaming songs of pain and steel Speeding on a beam of light. Tonight baby, tonight. Tonight baby, tonight. Up the mountains, over seas then again a sea of leaves Cliché-pop on rear seat screens Cliché-pop on rear seat screens In a black cloud of sound with the white smile of death It crosses over tables Into the coldness of your bed Across the wires and over phones in the so-called safety of domotic homes The cutting edge of flint and coal The cutting edge of flint and coal Bare and Unholy, Everywhere you come, You jinx the place into oblivion. (UN)holy American (UN)holy American Everywhere you go, God is nowhere near. Everywhere you go, God is nowhere near. © Mark Burghgraeve

The Room 03:06
The Room There's a boy in the room it's a room with a view There are toys in the room every day something new. (There must be a door somewhere) There's a window in the room it used to be with a view There's a lock on the door To keep Mum from the room There's a boy in the room There's a voice down the stairs There's a lock on the door Boy's alone, no one cares ... © Mark Burghgraeve

Ecosophy 07:07
Ecosophy Let wars be fought by weaponry no humans involved, ok for me. And if you want to die, don’t do it here. Atomic clocks to zero time, As I tried hard to make this rhyme. The time you take from me is very dear. From a sun that doesn’t shine, To the blackness of your skies You know that I can find the soft spots in your mind. But the sun will shine again As the dawn comes crawling in And you’ll get the love I have to give. It’s the lead you make me swallow, That makes me feel so hallow So tired and so lazy and so down. ‘Cause the air outside you see is poisonous to me and it seems by law we are not allowed to breathe. Bite the hand that feeds you poison! Kick like the mule they see you for! Bite the hand that feeds you poison! Kick like the mule they see you for! Sometimes I wonder why there is this goldness in your sky, Shining so brightly, each and every day Can I claim the gold up there, As you claim it here on earth. And if I can, I wonder what it’s worth. Bite the hand that feeds you poison! Kick like the mule they see you for! Bite the hand that feeds you poison! Kick like the mule they see you for! It’s a crying shame to me, After seen what I have seen That no one in this place uses solar energy. You’re all dying by the clock instead of living by the day. We’re telling you there is another way. Bite the hand that feeds you poison! Kick like the mule they see you for! Bite the hand that feeds you poison! Kick like the mule they see you for! The leaders of our wars shall be shown out of the door From the moment they ask us to kill a fellow man. ‘Cause I like to fight you see, but there is something else with me I rather fight myself than a so called enemy. Bite the hand that feeds you poison! Kick like the mule they see you for! Bite the hand that feeds you poison! Kick like the mule they see you for! © Mark Burghgraeve
